The English Triple Crown for three-year-olds, consists of the one-mile Two Thousand Guineas (Group 1 ) at Newmarket in May, the one and a half mile Epsom Derby (Group 1 ) at Epsom Downs in June and the Doncaster St. Leger (Group 1 ) at Doncaster racecourse over one and three quarter miles and 127 yards which is run in September
