Golf Majors Past Winners
The Golf Major Championship events in Mens PGA Golf are the British Open Golf Championship, PGA Golf Championship, the Masters Golf Tournament and the US Open Golf Championship. These annual tournaments are referred to as the Majors. The Open Championship more commonly known as the British Open is the oldest of the four majors having first been contested in 1860. The US Open Golf Championship is the second oldest being first played in 1895. PGA Championship event began in 1916 and the youngest of the Majors the Masters starting in 1934.
