Portugal ... 0 v 1 ... Greece

Greece produced one of the biggest shocks in football history by beating hosts Portugal in the 2004 final of the European Championship. Greece scored from their first corner on 57 minutes, with Angelos Charisteas heading in Angelis Basinas' cross. The Greeks made it a double over Portugal having beaten the hosts in the opening game of the tournament. Greece were made to work hard defensively but were extremely fit and held out for an historic victory.
