At Chepstow on October 4 1933 Sir Gordon Richards rode all six winners on the opening day of the meeting and the first five winners on the second day, which was the 5th October. These were all part of a record twelve consecutive winners that Sir Gordon rode as he had already ridden a winner at Nottingham on the 3rd October.
