Harry Llewellyn

Born July 18 1911 – Died November 15 1999

Sir Harry Morton Llewellyn, 3rd Baronet Llewellyn of Bwllfa the son of colliery owner, Sir David Llewellyn was born in Aberdare, South Wales in 1911. He was a successful show jumping champion and won a gold medal at the 1952 Helsinki Olympic Games for the British equestrian team, riding the legendary showjumper Foxhunter.

Harry Llewellyn also competed in the 1936 Grand National steeplechase, coming second on his father's horse Ego.
