Rubstic the winner of the 1979 Grand National cost just 500 guineas as a yearling. He was fairly unfashionably bred, by 1966 Coronation Cup winner I Say, out of Leuze. The dam produced quite a few decent horses including Kildimo the winner of the 1987 Sun Alliance Chase.
