Lester Piggott won four races at Longchamp on Sunday 5th October 1969
He won the Prix de l'Abbaye de Longchamp on Tower Walk for Geoffrey Barling, the Prix des Champs-Elysees on Shaft for Bernand van Cutsem, the Criterium des Pouliches on Vela for R Carver and the Prix du Moulin de Longchamp on Habitat for Fulke Johnson Houghton.
Lester Piggott was also second in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe on Park Top for trainer Bernard van Cutsem.
