First Derby Dead-Heat
First dead-heat for the Epsom Derby was in 1828 when Cadland and The Colonel proved impossible to separate - Cadland won the run-off.
In 1884 St Gatien and Harvester ran the only other Derby dead-heat and the stakes were divided.
