Chief British Judge at the Nuremberg War Crimes Trial after World War II was Geoffrey Lawrence, 3rd Baron Trevethin and 1st Baron Oaksey who was the father of John Geoffrey Tristram Lawrence (otherwise known as John Oaksey or "the Noble Lord"), 4th Baron Trevethin and 2nd Baron Oaksey, a British aristocrat, horse racing journalist and television commentator/presenter and former amateur jockey who won the 1958 Hennessy Gold Cup at Cheltenham Racecourse on Taxidermist and was second on Carrickbeg in the 1963 Aintree Grand National
