First Player to Score for the Losing Side in a Wembley FA Cup Final
The FA Cup Final was played at Wembley Stadium for the first time in 1923. Prior to this date a number of different venues had been used.

It was not until 1928 when Blackburn Rovers beat Huddersfield Town 3-1 that a losing team got on the score sheet in a Wembley Stadium FA Cup Final.
Alex Jackson, who scored for Huddersfield that day, became the first player to score for the losing side in a Wembley FA Cup Final.
